Misty is our guest stylist, joining us as our artist in residence for many lucky bridal parties. Misty’s 20 plus years in the beauty industry has allowed her to focus on many aspects of the profession; from working as a master stylist in an urban salon, as a RUSK educator and representative, salon owner and Cosmetology instructor.
She has worked extensively in the wedding industry, working initially with formal hairstyling. She focuses first on engineering the technical bits of the up-do process to accommodate veils and ornaments, then builds a beautiful and lasting design around that solid foundation.
After training for many years as a fine artist, it seemed only natural to combine talents and master make-up artistry.
Her eye for detail as a painter has made her capable of transforming faces into a lovely photographic canvas. She works to capture and enhance your own natural beauty in a way that many makeup artists miss. Skin must look like skin, you should feel like yourself and enjoy your day without feeling as though you are wearing a mask.
