Rebecca Biggers is an Asheville native that adores her beautiful city.  As a little girl, it was clear Rebecca already had a knack for hair and a love for products. Rebecca attended UNCA as well as culinary school in her early 20’s before acknowledging her true passion for the beauty industry. In the late 90’s she decided bring her dream to life and become a hairstylist. She trained extensively under Rusk designers, attended Rusk & Arojo academies and is a Wella Color specialist. After diving into hair design, she realized when you love your job… you never actually work. She opened the doors to her thriving business Lola Salon in August 2001. She adores all aspects of hair and has a particular knack for weddings and the art of listening to her client’s needs. In her spare time she loves teaching classes on aromatherapy and health. Rebecca has the unique ability to help your hair enhance your natural beauty and will take the time to teach you how to recreate the look at home.

Relocated to Asheville from Florida, Danielle studied at Vidal Sassoon in downtown Santa Monica, CA. Danielle is our resident curly hair expert and enjoys bring new life to each lock. She is masterful with wedding upstyles from innovative to classic. Her gentle, warm disposition that is easy to love. Danielle has a knack for barbering and mens haircuts. Her specialties are custom cutting techniques complimented with innovative color placement for each unique personality, from casual and natural to bold and creative! She is a proud wife and mother of two sweet kiddos.

Liz comes to Lola Salon from Charleston South Carolina, where she worked for 4 years at an upscale
salon in downtown, honing her cra doing fashion shows and working behind the chair. She moved to
Asheville in 2012 and has been building on her low country founda$on ever since. Her dedicated
awareness of listening to her client’s desires and interpre$ng them in a crea$ve way are what makes her
successful. Liz has a passion for updo’s and special event styling, which she’s been prac$cing since her
start as an appren$ce. She loves crea$ng mul$dimensional color using classic and trendy techniques,
and always keeps longevity in mind for the client. Other special$es include men’s haircuts and fades,
women’s long and short haircuts and haircuts for the kiddo’s! Educa$on includes Davines, Oribe, Rusk
cu-ng, Aveda, and Wella.

Britton moved to Asheville from Chicago where she has been a hair stylist for nearly 10 years. She graduated from a Paul Mitchell school and really enjoys taking part in the Asheville photo shoots and runways shows. She can transform your wedding hair dreams into reality. Britton is a joy to be around and her bubbly personality is infectious. She loves the challenge of color correction and is masterful with perfectly placed foils. Britton is married to a leathersmith and they both moved here with their basset hound, Bud.

Jennifer, originally from Charlotte, has been in the industry for 10 years. She has been trained by some of the best in the business in Color Correction and Theory as well as Platform cutting techniques. She loves to be creative in her technique as well as her ideas and always strives to make you look and feel your best. Jennifer prides herself in her ability to listen to her clients and understand what it is they really want, and does whatever she can to make sure that they can wear it proudly in the chair and out of the chair. Although she hails from the Queen City, Jennifer’s family has owned property in Asheville for over 20 years and her heart has always been here. She and her Comedian Fiance decided to relocate to this beauty city to raise their daughter and be close to family.

Karen was born and raised in Florida. She received her license in esthetics in 2001. Make up and skin care have been a life long passion. After an inspiring trip to Italy, Karen packed up her pickup and moved to Asheville. The people and the mountains drew her in and she is a true local now. Karen is an accomplished painter, which translates beautifully into her work as a make-up artist. Being the daughter of a model, Karen grew up in the fashion and beauty industry. As early as she can remember she was painting the faces of dolls or anyone that she could get her hands on. Karen began working at Lola in 2002 and continues to beautify Lola clients on a regular basis. Karen has a remarkable knack for shaping and contouring eyebrow shape. Her make up case is filled with all of the highest quality products ranging from Mac to Nars and the many high end brands in between. Karen has the uncanny ability to make you look as though you aren’t wearing any make-up, just that you look flawless! She can bring out cheekbones, make eyes pop, make lips luscious and skin tone dreamy. She also can bring the drama with a smokey eye, a sultry lip and dramatic false lashes. In her down time you can find Karen running marathons, skydiving, painting, tending bar and spending time with her boyfriend.

Sara Kate Eubanks (often called SK)  is an Asheville native who’s personality and style mirror the eclectic heartbeat of the city she has grown to love so much.  She studied painting, drawing and photography at the University of North Carolina at Asheville.  After college, Sara Kate furthered her artistic studies and became a certified decorative and restoration painter through the City and Guilds of London Institute.  While in the program, she worked on various projects, including a guilding project at the Biltmore Estate.   SK expanded her creative skills and knowledge by becoming a makeup artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.  As an already devoted customer to the line, it was a natural progression for her.   SK resonates deeply with Bobbi’s philosophy to empower women to feel and look their best, most confident self.   Pulling out a woman’s radiant features and enhancing what she loves about herself rather than covering up with she doesn’t is Sara Kate’s forte as an artist. As a certified Bobbi Brown makeup artist with 6 years of experience, her top priority is to make you look and feel your best while also collaborating with you for your perfect look.   It all starts with quality skincare and beautiful foundation that looks like perfect, flawless skin, not makeup.  From there, she can create the perfect look for you, from natural and classic to vibrant and glowing to sultry and sexy . 

In her free time, SK is passionate about nutrition and living a healthy and vibrant life.  She also has a knack for style, furniture, fashion and thrifting.  Feminine inspired mid-century modern is her favorite look and era.  She also has a deep love and compassion for animals.

Jitra is our salon magical manager and wedding coordinator. Jitra owned and operated her own bakery and still teaches culinary classes in her spare time. She is accustomed to the hustle and bustle of small business and is a whiz at organizing and keeping up with our booming wedding business! She recently relocated to Asheville after living in Cleveland where she was a sous chef at a nonprofit teaching people with disabilities how to cook. She loves travel, essential oils, hiking, live music and cooking with her husband. Jitra’s calm demeanor and beautiful smile sets the pace for our front desk and behind the scenes operation.

Tracy Anders is an Asheville native who possesses a sweet Southern disposition and sophisticated sense of style that has kept her clients coming back to see her for seventeen years. Her favorite aspect of hairstyling is the rewarding relationships she has built with her clients and peers.
She got her start studying fashion design before making the switch to hair design and gets inspiration from all types of fabrics, jewelry, and accessories as well as the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She loves working with natural texture, but also thrives on juxtaposing forms, shapes, and tones in innovative ways that create soft, subtle, and individualized hair styles.
As a certified Wella Master Colorist who has trained with Schwartzkopf and Bumble&Bumble, educating her clients on proper hair care and suitable easy to wear styles is her top priority.
When Tracy is not doing hair she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading.

Destonie has worked as a stylist downtown Asheville since 2001. She has her masters in color from the Wella Institute NY, as well as several certificates in cutting from Bumble & Bumble NY. She is bohemian chic with a rock and roll edge and loves translating that look for her clients. Her vast clientele includes everything from bold, dimensional blondes to rich glossy brunettes. In addition to being a color specialist and stylist she also is a licensed Balmain extensions specialist with a focus on I-tip extensions and is certified with Perfectress Transformation Extensions. Destonie is a creative, energetic and confident stylist that has loved working in the creative environment of Lola Salon & Gallery since 2008.

Jesslyn is an Asheville transplant who comes from a military family background.  She moved from her last station in Japan to San Antonio where she attended the Aveda Institute.  After she received her Aveda Certification, she followed her family to Asheville. When she is not busy performing magic on hair, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, two pups, and a fat cat.  She loves to read and is an expert on  Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.  She enjoys all of Asheville’s fine foods, beer, and chocolate.  She finds humor in everything and draws inspiration from the beauty and color of the city.   Asheville has allowed her passion for color to flourish.  She has a love for blonding, highlights, and is also a makeup enthusiast. We love Jesslyn’s fun and friendly attitude!

Kimberly has been styling hair now for 9 years. She believes beautiful hair shouldn’t be complicated. She believes in listening to needs, looking at lifestyle, and creating a look to best suit you. She received her education from Haywood Community College and then continued to apprentice at an upscale salon. In addition to Haywood Community, she attended advanced classes for Goldwell, Wella, Davines, and Redkin. Kimberly is also pivot point trained and trained with Bumble and Bumble and Oribe. She specializes in precision cuts, fades, pixies, edgy cuts, natural and fashion color. Kimberly loves to draw and has always been creative. She finds her inspiration in her daily life and everything that surrounds her.

Beckylou is a native of Asheville, but has lived all over. Most recently moved back from Oakland CA a couple years ago.
She had always thought of herself as an artistic person but she wasn’t sure what her calling was until she began her career in the salon business as a receptionist in 1999 and then soon became inspired to be behind the chair.
She has now been a stylist for over 15 years! She strives to give her clients an authentic experience that she would like to have herself in the salon. She prides herself in being a warm and compassionate listener with attention to detail.
Beckylou is educated in many color systems such as Wella, Swartzkopf and Davines and attended razor cutting classes in NYC with Bumble and Bumble. She enjoys doing ,all kinds of color from natural balyage and highlights to bold and funky colors, cutting long luscious layers, precision and razor bobs to edgy short cuts. She also specializes in wedding and event styles for all occasions.
In her spare time she loves to dance, do yoga, travel and spend time with her family.

Loving color and cutting equally, she has training from Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon, and Paul Mitchell Acadamies. Amanda has a love for helping people and has a dual career as an amazing nurse. She can bring health to you and your hair! She is the queen of detailed, precision cuts and foils. She is also gifted with bouncy curls and sweet bobs. She enjoys cooking, gardening, biking, and has a teenage son.

Misty is our guest stylist, joining us as our artist in residence for many lucky bridal parties. Misty’s 20 plus years in the beauty industry has allowed her to focus on many aspects of the profession; from working as a master stylist in an urban salon, as a RUSK educator and representative, salon owner and Cosmetology instructor.

She has worked extensively in the wedding industry, working initially with formal hairstyling. She focuses first on engineering the technical bits of the up-do process to accommodate veils and ornaments, then builds a beautiful and lasting design around that solid foundation.

After training for many years as a fine artist, it seemed only natural to combine talents and master make-up artistry.
Her eye for detail as a painter has made her capable of transforming faces into a lovely photographic canvas. She works to capture and enhance your own natural beauty in a way that many makeup artists miss. Skin must look like skin, you should feel like yourself and enjoy your day without feeling as though you are wearing a mask.
She feels that women of all ages and colors have a right to feel beautiful and to express their beauty without feeling contrived or compromised. Misty is an animal lover from feathered to furry. Misty has a beautiful son and step son and is married to her beloved Nick.

Chase is a fresh spirit and energetic part of our front desk team. He keeps us all working with ease as an administrative assistant. He grew up with small businesses in his family and is an integral part of how we get it all done. Chase recently relocated to Asheville via Spartanburg. He has always loved music, theater, herbal medicine and making people smile. He is perusing his passion for healing in studying traditional herbal medicine so that he can make it convenient and accessible to all. In the meanwhile his kind demeanor and hardworking spirit is much appreciated as our lone male in a sea of girls!
